Specialist teams in each city — deep local climate knowledge — fast response
RawaCool covers three cities in south-western Saudi Arabia — Abha, Khamis Mushait, and Jazan. Each city has a fundamentally different climate, which means our local expertise isn't a nice-to-have: it's a prerequisite for a correct repair. We have resident teams in each city who know the neighbourhoods, the terrain, and the seasonal fault patterns.
Abha sits at 2,200 m in the Sarawat Mountains, and that elevation changes how every AC unit performs. Atmospheric pressure is 23% lower than sea level, so refrigerant charging requires altitude-corrected pressure values — a common mistake that causes recurring faults when technicians ignore it. Abha is also the only city in the region that needs both cooling and heating in the same year, putting the unit through two distinct operating modes.
Spring dust storms (March–April) clog filters far faster than normal due to mountain wind patterns, making pre-summer seasonal servicing in April essential rather than optional. Emergency response time: 40–55 minutes for most neighbourhoods.
Abha service details →Khamis Mushait sits at 1,800 m but is far more exposed to summer heat than Abha — July and August regularly exceed 42°C, with AC units running 12–16 hours a day without stopping. This cumulative load burns out capacitors at a much higher rate than normal: 60–70% of summer breakdowns in the city trace back to a capacitor that was already deteriorating before peak heat arrived.
An April service visit is the smartest investment for Khamis Mushait residents: it catches the deteriorating capacitor before July, verifies refrigerant level, and cleans the outdoor coil. The city also has a large industrial zone that requires commercial HVAC services under dedicated AMC contracts. Response time: 45–60 minutes.
Khamis Mushait service details →Jazan sits on the Red Sea coast — relative humidity exceeds 80% in summer combined with salt-laden sea air. This combination produces condensate buildup at triple the rate of Abha, rapid algae growth in the condensate drain, and corrosion in outdoor unit connections. Coil cleaning in Jazan should happen every 3 months rather than every 6 — that single difference reduces water-leak repairs by around 80%.
Units near the Corniche need anti-corrosion treatment twice a year, and indoor unit disinfection every season to prevent mould driven by the high humidity. We cover Jazan city plus nearby Abu Arish and Sabya. Response time: 50–70 minutes.
Jazan service details →Abha: priority is altitude-corrected refrigerant charging and pre-summer servicing for dust season. Khamis Mushait: priority is capacitor inspection and refrigerant check before July. Jazan: priority is condensate drain cleaning, coastal corrosion treatment, and mould disinfection. A team in each city knows what to look for first.
