Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you write about the differences between cities?
Because it's the most important practical distinction everyone ignores. A generic 'how to maintain your AC' article doesn't help you in Jazan, where the problem is salt, or in Abha, where the problem is mould. We write about what we actually see in each city.
Do these articles replace a technician?
Some do — the filter, the space around the outdoor unit, and the basics of what to check before calling. But anything involving refrigerant, electricity or pressures needs measuring instruments, and attempting it yourself usually costs more.
How often are the articles updated?
We add topics when we see a recurring pattern in call-outs — not simply to publish. If a problem keeps recurring for us, it's probably recurring for you.
Can I suggest a topic?
Yes. If you have a question you couldn't find a clear answer to, get in touch — recurring questions are the source of most of what we write.
What do people ask about most?
A rising electricity bill with no change in cooling. And it's a real problem: a dirty coil raises consumption before any fault appears, so the bill climbs while everything seems normal.
Does your advice apply to all brands?
The principles do — pressures, refrigerant and dust are physics, not branding. What differs is error codes and electronics, which we cover on the brand pages.
Do you write about commercial systems too?
Yes, and it's a neglected area locally. Central systems, VRF and chillers have entirely different problems from residential splits.
Do you recommend brands in your articles?
No. We're an independent workshop, not an agent, and we take no commission from any manufacturer. We write about principles, not names.
How do I find the article for my city?
We have dedicated articles for Abha, Khamis Mushait and Jazan, because what your AC faces differs fundamentally depending on where you are.
